Welcome to Hermitage Elementary School. We are looking forward to the 2007-2008 school year. We welcome your involvement and participation in our school. We have a very active PTA with much parental and community support. We encourage you to join the PTA and get involved this school year.

Results from SOL tests given this past spring show significant achievement in reading, writing, math, social studies, and science scores from the previous year in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. We will continue to analyze our test data to assist us with continuous improvement. In the Spring of 2007, Hermitage was recognized as a 2007 Title I School of Distinction. We have a strong and dedicated staff that provides an optimum program to address the needs of the whole child. Parent participation is a very welcome and important part of our continued success as we strive to ensure academic excellence for all students.
