What an exciting year this promises to be! The anticipation of another successful school year is in the air.  Our faculty and staff are ready to guide all of our Hermitage “Vikings” to academic success. 

Our legacy of academic success continues as a fully accredited elementary school in Virginia.  Once again, our students have demonstrated exemplary achievement on the Virginia Standards of Learning tests.  The support of our community plays an important part in our success and we are fortunate to be your community school.

There are various ways you can be a part of our educational community.  Being an involved parent means that you are aware of your child’s academic and social activities, and are involved in the school functions offered throughout the year.  Our PTA has worked diligently to prepare family events that will both inform and entertain, allowing for quality family time.  Your support of the PTA is essential to keeping Hermitage a child-friendly, family-oriented place.  A small membership dues allows our PTA to be an advocate for children, you become an advocate for children.  Please join me in this worthy cause for our students, as well as children all over the country.

Our theme for 2007-2008 is “Hermitage Elementary School, Where We Polish the Stars.”  Our school is filled to the heavens with student “stars.”  Your support allows us to make each student shine!  I look forward to exploring our stars with you this year.  Please contact me for assistance in identifying a place for you in our educational community.
